3. The analysis of the result
This survey was conducted in mixed level second graders.
When asked to rate their interest in English, 11 students (36.6%) were interested or very interested, while 16 students considered their interest to be neutral or a little (53.3%). 3 students (10%) said that they were not interested in English at all.
6 students understand English class, with 10% understanding everything and 90% understanding almost everything while 15 students understand English class with 80~70% understanding. 9 students (30%) understand little or nothing about English class.
For the students in this class, reading and grammar were chosen as the most difficult skill in English (33.3% and 20%).
When asked which skills they considered most important, most students chose speaking (50%) and reading (50%).
