Organisms in each category with their characteristic way to spread and infect plants
Classification of plant diseases
Soilborne disease
Seedborne pests
Airborne pathogens
General pest management tactics
Rotate crops.
Destroy crop residue.
Plant resistant varieties.
Observe proper planting dates.
Fertilize properly: apply fertilizer according to soil test recomentation.
Harvest at proper time.
Store corn properly.
Treat seed.
Control nematodes with nematicides according to recommendations
