In Korean Classrooms
Krashen is the theorist who sees that L2 student`s ultimate goal can be achieved "by supplying input so that students progress in language acquisition, so that they understand real language to at least some extent; and by making the student conversationally competent, that is, by giving the student tools to manage conversation despite a less than perfect competence in the second language."(Krashen, 1987) There are five principal tents of Krashen`s language acquisition theory which are the acquisition-learning hypothesis, the monitor hypothesis, the input hypothesis, the natural order hypothesis, and the affective filter hypothesis.
