Messenger: Everybody! Settle down! Alright, what we have here is a moral play, called everyman, it`s got life, death, bromance, and heartbreak. Everything you could ever want in a play. So pay attention alright? Okay.
[messenger exits god enters]
God: Every day I look at my universe and see these people wasting it. My universe is my masterpiece! My 9th! My mona lisa! And here I see these thoughtless humans wasting their lives partying and drinking, and cheating on tests and it`s just getting on my nerves. There are too many loop holes. I need to get back on top of this. And by me I mean someone else. I know just the man for the job. Death! Hey! Death! Come here a minute!
[death enters]
Death: I thought you said I had the day off?
God: I know what I said, I know all. But I work in mysterious ways which means I am allowed to change my mind. So I`m giving you one small assignment, Find Everyman, take care of him. I need to set an example. Enough of this sin without consequence.
Death: (writing on a notepad) alright and Everyman. All over it big guy.
[god exits]
Alright let`s see We`ve god Nobody, Somebody, Everybody, Everyman!
[everyman enters]
Everyman: whaaa?
Death: hold still!
