Before going to the real architecture, We first briefly introduce some background knowledge on carbon nanotube.
Carbon nanotube is a one dimensional conductor which can be visualized as a roll up of one-layer or mutli-layer of graphite with diameter from 1-100nm and length up to milimeters.
It has many exellcent electronic properties, including ballistic transport, excellent thermal conductivity, high current density, and chemical stability. According to its metallic or semiconducting type, it is very promising to be used in transistor building or interconnect applications.
