Abstract

한국어 초록

This study attempts to establish the identity of Christian university with the two issues of "How should Christian university keeps their identity?" and "What is the value of existence of Christian university in the future?"
These days, people think the crisis of identity of Christian university comes from external factors as the government intervention, the financial problems and etc.. However, it is caused by a lack of recognition about the identity of Christian university. In addition to, the lack of recognition is derived from the trend of thought which has included enlightment, post-modernism, and market logic. It has made the separation of faith and learning, weakened faith community and brought about lack of education for whole person.
In this context, this study explores how to establish the identity of Christian university with the concepts of integration of faith and learning, restoration of communality, Christian holistic education to solve the education problem of this generation.

This study attempts to establish the identity of Christian university with the two issues of "How should Christian university keeps their identity?" and "What is the value of existence of Christian university in the future?"
