초록

생태유아교육 프로그램을 위한 기질별 접근 적용 방안:문헌 연구 중심으로

연구 목적: 생태유아교육의 일괄적이고 총체적인 방법을 지양하고, 유아의 맞춤형 기질별 생태 유아교육 프로그램 개발 방향성을 제시하여 생태유아교육의 기질별 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 한다.
연구 방법: 본 연구는 생태유아교육과 유아 기질에 관련 연구 및 문헌에서 생태유아교육과 유아의 기질 유형을 추출한 후 현재 시행하고 있는 생태유아 프로그램을 선별하였다. 이에 기질 유형은 신뢰로운 기질, 열정적인 기질, 독립적인 기질, 신중한 기질, 민감한 기질, 모험적인 기질, 꼼꼼한 기질, 폭발적인 기질로 8가지 유형으로 선정하였다.
연구 내용: 첫째, 본 연구는 유아의 기질 유형을 고려함으로써 생태유아교육의 성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 가능성이 나타났다. 둘째, 본 연구는 생태교육 분야의 활성화를 위해 각 유아의 기질에 따른 다양한 교육 내용과 방법이 나타났다. 셋째, 본 연구는 기질별 생태유아교육 프로그램 개발 방향성이 나타났다.
결론 및 제언: 기존 관련 연구가 후천적 요인만을 고려하여 진행된 점, 생태 유아교육 분야에서 맞춤화된 교육 필요성이 제시되지 못하는 점, 생태 유아교육 활성화를 위한 전문인재 양성 연구가 부족한 점을 고려할 때, 가치와 의의가 있으며, 차후 연구는 국내 실정에 적합한 유아 특성 구분을 활용한다면 본 연구 결과를 유용하게 확장할 수 있음을 제언했다.

Applying a Temperamental Approach to Ecological Early Childhood Education Programs: A Review of the Literature

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of temperament-specific ecological early childhood education programs by avoiding the one-size-fits-all method of ecological early childhood education and suggesting the direction of developing ecological early childhood education programs according to the temperament of infants. This study extracted the temperament types of ecological early childhood education and infants from the research and literature related to ecological early childhood education and infant temperament, and then selected ecological early childhood programs currently being implemented. Eight temperament types were selected: trusting, enthusiastic, independent, cautious, sensitive, adventurous, meticulous, and explosive. First, this study shows that the performance of ecological early childhood education can be improved by considering the temperament type of toddlers; second, this study shows various educational contents and methods according to the temperament of each toddler to promote the field of ecological education. Third, this study provides directions for the development of ecological early childhood education programs by temperament. Considering the fact that the existing related studies were conducted by considering only acquired factors, the lack of personalised education needs in the field of ecological early childhood education, and the lack of research on training professionals to promote ecological early childhood education, this study has value and significance, and it is suggested that future studies can usefully extend the results of this study by using the classification of infant characteristics suitable for Korean conditions.
