초록

21세기 중국의 경제력이 급증 및 거대 도시화와 공업화로인하여 집터와 고분, 대규모 유적지 등에 대한 파괴의 심각성이 대두되었다. 이를 계기로 2009년 중국 국가문물국에서 중요한 역사와 문화적 의미가 깊고 면적이 큰 유적을 대상으로국가고고유적지라는 새로운 개념을 제시하였으며 각 성(省) 단위에서도 성급(省級) 고고유적지 조성이 시행되었다. 이로인해 주요 유적지 보호뿐만 아니라 국가 이미지 수립, 환경개선, 공공문화 공간 확장, 관광지 개발로 인한 지역 경제 활성화 등 다양한 측면에서 영향력을 가지게 되었다. 본 연구대상인 중국 섬서성은 대표적 고고 유적지를 다수 소재하며 국가고고학박물관이 2019년에 개관하였고 전시공간 연출에 관하여 최근의 경향을 살펴 볼 수 있는 가능성이 크다.
첫째, 팔림프세스트는 대상을 설명하기 위한 시각화 측면에서뮤지엄 전시의 근본적 정의와 동일하다고 해석할 수 있다. 둘째, 팔림프세스트 측면의 흔적, 덧쓰기, 차연, 보충 등으로 전시방법과 융합하는 요소를 추출하였고 이에 유적전시관의 유형에 대한 재해석을 시도하였다. 셋째, 팔림프세스 개념을 차용한 후, 중국 유적전시관의 전시유형을 중첩, 병치, 합성 그리고 상호관계와 직·간접적 체험요소 및 진열장, 영상, 모형그리고 디오라마 등으로 크로스체크 하였을 때 팔림프세스트측면의 전시공간에서의 병치적 시점은 다수 사례에서 58.3% 분포로서 살펴볼 수 있으며 전시방법 중에서 진열장 및 모형과의 조합에서 관계성이 성립되는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 중국 섬서성 대규모의 유적전시관에 관한 팔림프세스트시점에서 관람자와 전시물과의 관계성 확립을 위한 전시물배치방법 및 직·간접체험과의 맥락적 분류를 시도함으로써기초적 사례연구가 되고자 한다.

영어초록

Due to the rapid growth of China's economic power and massive urbanization and industrialization in the 21st century, the seriousness of destruction of house sites, tombs, and large-scale historical sites has emerged. This encouraged the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China to propose a new concept of national archaeological sites for relics with deep historical and cultural significance and large areas in 2009, and the provincial archaeological sites were also created at the level of each province. As a result, it has had influence in various aspects, including the establishment of the national image, environmental improvement, expansion of public cultural spaces, and revitalization of the local economy through the development of tourist destinations as well as the protection of major historical sites. Shaanxi Province in China, the subject of this study, is home to many representative archaeological sites, and the National Archeological Museum opened in 2019, increasing the possibility of examining recent trends in exhibition space directing. First, it can be interpreted that a palimpsest is the same as the fundamental definition of a museum exhibition in terms of visualization to explain an object.
Second, elements integrated with the exhibition method were extracted through traces, overwriting, difference, and supplementation on the side of the palimpsest, and an attempt was made to reinterpret the type of relics museum. Third, after borrowing the concept of palimpsest, when the exhibition types of the Chinese relics museum were cross-checked with overlap, juxtaposition, synthesis, interrelationship, direct and indirect experience elements, display cases, videos, models, and dioramas, the juxtaposed viewpoint in the exhibition space on the side of the palimpsest can be seen as 58.3% distribution in many cases, and the relationship can be seen to be established in the combination of display cases and models among the exhibition methods. This study aims to be a basic case study by attempting to classify the contextual classification of exhibit arrangement methods and direct/indirect experiences to establish relationships between viewers and exhibits from a palimpsest perspective on a large-scale relics museum in Shaanxi Province, China.
