태권도 연구동향 분석 (Research Trends in TaeKowndo)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 태권도 연구 동향을 분석하는데 있다. 태권도 연구 동향을 분석하기 위해 1996년부터 2005년까지 한국체육학회지에 게재된 태권도 관련 논문을 수집하였으며, 수집된 논문은 게재연도, 분과, 연구유형, 주제, 연구대상, 자료분석방법으로 분류하여 빈도와 누가백분율을 산출하였다. 그 결과, 태권도 연구는 분과에서 운동역학과 사회체육분과에서 가장 많이 연구되었으며, 2000년 이후부터 다양화가 이루지고 있었다. 연구유형은 기술연구가 가장 많이 사용되었으며, 2001년부터 다양해지기 시작했다. 연구주제는 경기력이 가장 많이 사용하였고 연구대상은 운동선수로 나타났으며, 모두 2000년부터 다양성이 증가했다. 그리고 자료분석방법은 t-test/ANOVA을 가장 많이 이용했으며, 2000년부터 분석방법의 다양화가 이루어졌다. 이러한 결과들은 태권도가 점차 다양성을 통하여 학문적 체계를 갖추어 나가고 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the current research trends in Taekwondo. Study data were collected from the published articles from 1996 to 2005 in the Korean Journal of Physical Education. A total of 83 studies were collected and analyzed by publication year, department, type of research, main subject, research object, and method of data analysis. Frequency and cumulate frequency% were calculated for the sub-factors. The results were as follows; First, trends in department appeared that kinesiology and social physical education showed extremely high frequency and variety of research department begun to increase from 2000 and reached to study in all departments excepting sports sociology, leisure and recreation, and special sports education in 2004. Department shown distinct increase was department of social physical education. Second, trends in type of research appeared that descriptive research showed extremely high frequency and variety of Type of research begun to increase from 2001 and reached to study in all type of research in 2004. Third, trends in main subject of research appeared that performance showed extremely high frequency and variety of main subject of research begun to increase from 2000 and reached to study in all main subject of research in 2002, 2004 and 2005. The main subject of research shown distinct increase was behavior/cognition. Fourth, trends in object of research appeared that an athlete showed extremely many frequency. Object of research begun to increase from 2000 and reached to study in all object of research of research in 2004. Fifth, trends in method of data analysis appeared that t-test/ANOVA showed extremely high frequency and variety of method of data analysis begun to increase from 2000. As Taekwondo gains popularity, continuous efforts should be made to extend value and philosophy of Taekwondo over the world.
