세계평화통일가정연합의 공의주의(共義主義)와 가정(家庭) 담론 고찰 (A Study on the Discussion on The Principle of GongEui(Co-righteousness) and Family of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification)

초록

본 연구는 ‘세계평화통일가정연합’(이하 가정연합)이 ‘공의주의(共義主義)’의 실천을 위한 기본단위를 ‘가정(家庭)’으로 규정한 것에 대한 논쟁에 주목한다. 먼저 『통일사상요강』, 『원리강론』, 『문선명선생말씀선집』 등을 근거로 한 선행연구의 해석을 통해 공의주의가 무엇인지를 살펴본다. 공통적으로 공의주의와 가정 개념이 기존 선행연구에서 ‘하나님의 참사랑’을 중심으로 해석되고 있지만 공의주의의 실천 기본단위를 가정으로 할 때, 그 실행 주체를 가정연합 존재론의 핵심 개념인 ‘개성진리체(個性眞理體)’로 볼 것인지 아니면 가정으로 볼 것인지에 대한 상충된 해석이 가능할 수 있다. 이와 관련해서 직접적으로 문제제기를 한 바 있는 최유신의 관점에 주목하여 공의주의 실천 중심을 개성진리체 개념에 두는 관점을 ‘정립’으로 그리고 이와 반대로 실천 기본단위를 가정으로 보는 관점을 ‘반정립’으로 구분하는 사유 실험을 통해 공의주의의 실천과 실행 단위에 대한 상이한 두 입장이 표면적으로 이율배반적인 것 같지만, 실상은 양자 모두 통일사상(統一思想)의 공의주의를 정치와 경제 영역에서 실현하고 실천하는 데 있어 상호 배타적인 택일의 문제가 아니며 양립가능한 것으로서 상호 보완적일 수 있음을 보이고자 했다. 이러한 점을 설득력 있게 논증하기 위해 토마스 아퀴나스(Thomas Aquinas, 1224-1274)의 ‘비례성 유비’와 ‘비례 유비’의 구분 그리고 서구 전통 신학의 독단적이고 이론적인 신 존재 증명과 독단적 ‘자연주의’를 비판한 칸트(Immanuel Kant, 1724-1804) 비판철학의 ‘유비(analogia)’ 개념이 중요한 열쇠로 사용되었다. 유비 개념을 통해 하나님의 사랑과 ‘삼대주체’인 가정·학교·기관 내에서의 구성원 간의 사랑의 관계성에 혈연적이고 인간적인 것 그리고 이해타산적인 것과 최소한의 동일성도 포함되지 않는다는 점을 강조하였다.

영어초록

This study examines preceding research on the Principle of GongEui(Co- righteousness) and focuses on the interpretation debate about interpreting Family as the basic unit of practice in the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification(hereinafter referred to as the Family Federation). First, we examine what the Principle of GongEui(Co-righteousness) is through the interpretation of previous studies based on 『Essentials of Unification Thought』, 『Divine Principle』, and 『Rev. Sun Myung Moon Anthology』. Although the concept of the Principle of GongEui(Co-righteousness) and Familiy is commonly interpreted around “God’s true love” in previous studies, it may be possible to interpret conflicting interpretations of whether the subject of practice will be viewed as a “Individual Truth Incarnation” that is key concept on human beings of the Family Federation or the Family. Attention to Choi Yoo-shin’s point of view, which has raised issues directly, is focused on thesis a point of view that focuses on the practice of the Principle of GongEui(Co-righteousness) on the concept of Individual Truth Incarnation, and on the contrary, through a thought experiment that divides the view of the basic unit of practice into antithesis, the question of whether the unit will be the former or the latter seems to be contradictory, but in reality, both of them are not mutually exclusive or optional in realizing and practicing the Principle of GongEui(Co-righteousness) of Unification Theory in the political and economic fields, and can be complementary as compatible.
To argue this point convincingly, Thomas Aquinas (1224-1274)’s distinction between “analogia proportionalitatis” and “analogia proportionis” and Immanuel Kant’(1724-1804)s critical philosophy of “analogia”, which criticized the dogmatic and theoretical proof of God’s existence in Western traditional theology and the dogmatic “naturalism” were used as important keys. Through the concept of ‘analogia’, it was emphasized that the relationship between God’s love and love between members within the “Three Great Subjects Thought” of families, schools, and institutions does not include the least identity with the blood-related, human thing and calculation of gains and losses.
