초록

This paper attempts to analyze into the Ganghwa-Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty's Tripitaka of Haein-Temple that were supplemented during Japanese Ruling Era of Korea. in particular, this paper analyzed into the present situation & nature of the Woodblock that were supplemented in 1915 and 1937 year.
At the time of this project, the 36 woodblock-plates(57 pages) were supplemented, the 2 woodblock-plates(4 pages) were newly made up. supplement project of 1937 year was again supplemented 18 woodblock-plates that were supplemented in 1915 year.
The previous reports have been noted a primary factor of this supplement project due to missing of the original woodblock(the Ganghwa- Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty’s Tripitaka that were made in the middle of the 13th century). But the majority of its supplement-woodblock is because it was missing in the process of investigating the Ganghwa- Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty’s Tripitaka. because an error of its investigating, the corresponding woodblock was supplemented.
The supplement project of 1915 & 1937 year is showing a various nature. First, the Korea Government-General(朝鮮總督府) was led this supplement project. the reason was because the national & diplomatic necessity. Second, the supplement-woodblock of this time did not sufficiently reflect a woodcut technique & conservative technology & aesthetic value of the mid 13th century. The technique & aesthetic value is less than the Ganghwa- Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty’s Tripitaka of the mid 13th century. Finally, the supplement-woodblock of this time was reflected in the colonial rule-policy of Japanese-imperialism & the historical & cultural recognition of the project officer. The rule-policy & recognition were the discontinuance- theory(停滯性理論) & heteronomy-theory(他律性理論) of the Japanese- imperialism.
