1.INTRODUCTION
This report analyses a platform called ‘MYOMEE’, an app that provides rental services that reflect the recent trend of consumption in Korea.
Beyond the level of car, home appliance, etc., the 'Sharing Economy' has let to rent even artwork and beds. Since new economic models reflecting rapidly changing consumer trends are spreading, the era has been increasing in which the value of sharing rather than owning is recognized is activated by the 'Try Sumer', who buys the experiences, chooses to rent for a short period of time at a price that is less expensive than purchasing products as the 'Smart Rich' who wants more effective and luxurious consumption at the same cost (Crane, 2016).
The term of the sharing economy was first used by Professor Lawrence Lessig at Harvard Law School in 2008 to overcome the financial crisis in the United States. It means the way in which an individual owns a product.
