Mass spectrometry
MS can be easily combined with gas and liquid chromatography. It is a very useful method for separation of mixtures, structural confirmation. MS is a technique to determine molecular weights, furthermore, to identify structures of complex structures by measuring the mass / charge of charged molecules which are ionized in the high-vacuum region.
