本研究では日本語教育におけるシャドーイング練習法に関する研究の動向と、シャドーイング練習法に対する学生の評価を分析した。
日本国内のシャドーイング研究74件のタイトルを対象にテキストまイニング分析を行った。音声分野の発音と言語学分野の記憶容量と意味処理においてシャドーイングの効果を検証した研究が多かった。また、レベルにおいても初級、中級、上級を対象に行われていたことがわかった。
日本国内では文部科学プロジェクトをみると、シャドーイング練習法の効果を検証するための実践研究及びシャドーイングと他の練習法との比較検証が行われている。また、日本語教室における導入のみならず、海外の日本語学習者を対象に入れ、調査を行っている。最近はシャドーイング教材の開発とシャドーイングに対する自動評価システム構築の段階に至っていると把握された。
一方、韓国内の日本語教育におけるシャドーイングの実践研究は9件のみであった。韓国の日本語教育現場に適したシャドーイング実践研究が行われる必要がある。シャドーイングの効果と難しさについて調査した結果、韓国日本語学習者はシャドーイングに対して肯定的に評価しており、日本語学習に役立つ、新しい練習法として認識しているようである。日本語の指導においてシャドーイングを積極的に取り入れていったほうが望ましいと考えられる。

영어 초록

This study, we analyzed research trends of shadowing activity in Japanese education and the evaluation of students on shadowing activity.
When we examined the title of 74 shadowing studies in Japan through text mining analysis, the most frequently verified effects are on pronunciation in the phonetic field and memory capacity and semantic processing in linguistics. It was also found to have been executed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students by their level. In Japan, in order to verify the effectiveness of Shadowing method, the research was performed on the practical study and comparison verification with other practice methods. Also the research was expanded to include not only the introduction in the classroom in Japan, but also the overseas Japanese learners. It is understood that it has reached the stage of developing new teaching materials and establishing an automated evaluation system for shadowing activity.
Meanwhile, only nine studies were conducted in the field of Japanese education in Korea. In the future, research on shadowing activity should be carried out to fit the current status of Japanese language education in Korea. Considering that the evaluation of shadowing practice by Korean students is positive and that they recognize it as a new exercise to help their Japanese acquisition. I think it is desirable to introduce shadowing into the Japanese teaching method actively.
