本文通過對中國批判性知識分子汪?的學問主體化戰略的評价和批評, 展現改革開放以后在西化、世界化的浪潮里知識社會對中國式社會主義的苦惱。汪?一定程度上肯定了中國式社會主義的歷史, 針對美國覇權主義, 試圖對國際社會尤其是亞洲地區里的中國地位問題, 作出提示。現今的中國知識社會里新自由主義者占据主導地位, 他們支持西化、世界化, 還主張國家的弱化和市場、市民社會的强化。汪?面對這些人, 積極肯定了國家的作用, 從平等主義觀点出發對資本主義近代化的問題点進行批評, 他是“新左派”的代表性學者。汪?將毛澤東的中國式社會主義經驗規定爲從淸朝末期知識分子那里繼承而來的“反現代性的現代性”, 他旣肯定了西方文明占主導幷且擴散開來的現代性的肯定性方面, 又批評西方的覇權主義屬性, 摸索出與西方現代化不同的現代化之路的結果就是中國社會主義。 新自由主義者認爲中國在國家的設計之下發展了市場和市民社會, 于是根据國家/市場、國家/市民社會等二分法, 主張弱化國家、强化市場和市民社會, 認爲這才是進步。汪?則認爲他們的主張是非現實的, 在亞洲地區的連帶、協作方案里, 又覺得有必要對前民族國家時代亞洲地區的國際世界秩序, 卽以中國爲中心的朝貢體系重新作出肯定的解釋。本文旣高度評价汪?復合性思維的深度和現實性, 又批評他對政治民主主義相對的不關注以及國家中心主義、中國中心主義。

영어 초록

This paper is to show Chinese knowledge society`s` concerns about Chinese socialism being proceeded with in the stream of westernization and globalization since Economic Reform and Open Door Policy, with specific reference to a Chinese critical intellectual Wang Hu`s subjectivation of scholarship strategy in a critical approach. Wang Hui, accepting the history of Chinese socialism to a degree, tries to reset the status of China to cope with American supremacy in the international society, particularly in the Asian region. At present Chinese knowledge society is dominated by neo-liberalists supporting westernization and globalization, insisting on the weak state and the strengthened market and civil society. On the contrary, Wang Hui is one of the representative scholars in the “New Left” camp, optimizing the role of the state and criticizing the problems of capitalist modernization from the egalitarian perspective. He defines the experience of Mao`s Chinese socialism as “anti-modern modernity” succeeded from the late Qing scholars. In other words, it`s the result from criticizing Western supremacy and seeking for a different modernization from that in the West, while approving of the good side of modernity which Western civilization has led and disseminated. Wang Hui also points that in modern China where the market and civil society have developed under state planning, the neo-liberal argument in which weakening the state and strengthening the market and civil society on the premise of state/market, state/civil society dichotomies is unrealistic. And regarding how to create solidarity and cooperation in the Asian region, he points to a need to positively reinterpret the Tributary System around China in the center, the pre-nation state world order. This paper, while highly acclaiming Wang Hui`s depth of multi-dimensional though and relevance, criticizes his relative disinterest in political democracy, state centrism and China centrism.
