영어 초록

This article analyses four diverse syntactic positions of Italian adverbs. It is considered that Italian adverbs can occupy a position of any possible boundaries of phrasal units. Therefore, adverbs have been regarded as a marginal element from a syntactic viewpoint. However, the appropriate use of this element is important and complicated, because each adverb has its own grammatical position for a certain semantic interpretation, differently from its theoretical expectations. Here I examined the proper positions of Italian adverbs with their semantic appropriateness and I have found four diverse adverb positions in Italian syntactic constructions.
