The aim of this research is to analyze the types and characteristics on the international crime of North Korea as a issue towards settlement of the peace and order keeping in Northeast Asia. Following this research objective, the results of this thesis are analyzed as below. Firstly, this study approaches at the level of crimes connected with the international morality, the international custom or the customary international law, and the international law. Secondly, recently, the increasing types of international crime have been fairly general as below. Namely, those are the drug trafficking, the smuggling, the altered or falsified passport, smuggling oneself into a country and trade in human life(human traffic), the counterfeit money, the financial crime, the terror and terrorism. This international crimes are diversified and organized and expanding in countries throughout the world. And the Northeast Asia of today is no exception, too. Thirdly, the activities of North Korea``s international crime began with the outbreak of the Korean War on June 25, 1950 by North Korea``s invasion to communize the whole Korea. After June 25, 1950, North Korea is systematically and continually carrying out the various activities of the international crime. These criminal activities are composed of the drug trafficking and making, the making and circulation of the counterfeit money and money laundering in illegal activities, the smuggling, abductions and human rights issues, the assassination and terror. In conclusion, in the present of 2lst Century North Korea has a place of the only state being a threat to the Northeast Asia``s peace order, for it goes through a series of international crimes after the 1950``s. So, in the future, to settle the Northeast Asia``s peace and order keeping, related states will have to seek ways to find preferentially a solution to the North Korea``s international crime issue.
