본 연구의 목적은 부부 사이의 역기능적 체계를 기능적이고 건강한 체계로 변화시키기 위해 부부
갈등과 위기에 대처하는 적합한 방안의 가능성을 제안하기 위한 것이다. 이론적 토대는 부부 체계에
역기능적 영향을 끼치는 요인들을 정립한 가족치료이론인 미누친의 구조적 가족치료, 보웬의 가족치
료, 사티어의 경험적 가족치료에 근거하였다. 본 연구자는 부부의 갈등과 위기가 부부의 역기능적
체계와 연관성이 있음을 제안하게 되었으며, 역기능적 체계의 변화와 성장을 위해 언어적 치료와 인
형 치료를 활용함으로써 부부로 하여금 자신과 배우자를 이해하고 성장하는 기회를 제공하였다. 따
라서 본 연구자는 결혼한 부부들이 그들의 가족 내의 역기능적 체계를 변화시키기 위해 내담자 부
부에 대한 상담과 교육을 제안하는 바이다.

영어 초록

The purpose of the present study is to understand the dysfunctional system between the married
couples, and to suggest the possibility of a suitable plan in oder to cope with the existing conflict and
crisis. The writer searched into the theory of Dysfunctional System among married couples in the light of
the studies on Minuchin's Structural Family Therapy, Bowen's Family Therapy, and Satir's Experiential
Family Therapy. They developed family theories focused on the factors that cause dysfunctional influence to
a marital system.
Based on the above studies the writer suggests that the dysfunctional system among married couples has
a profound correlation with the conflict and crisis. As a result, the writer attempted for the married
couples to get to know themselves and their spouse and to grow as they understand by using Verbal
Therapy and Figure Therapy, in oder to bring personal growth and changes in dysfunctional system.
Accordingly, the writer suggested counseling and education to the participants(married couples) of the
three cases in oder to change the dysfunctional system in their marriage. Also, the writer attempted
pastoral approach through Clinebell's Growth Counseling Theory. He advised a program that concerns the
necessary methods and techniques to prevent crisis facing the marital couples.
In the Korean culture, the husbands generally treat their spouse with authoritative or evasive attitude.
On the other hand, the wives commonly communicate in ways that they don't explicitly present their
feelings. Many of the existing therapies and programs concerning couple's counseling are stemmed from
American culture. However, methods and techniques that are suitable for Korean married couples need to
be continually studied.
