본 연구는 음악놀이와 푸드아트놀이를 통합하여 구성한 정서순화예술놀이 프로그램이 다문화가정 아동의 사회성 향상에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다.
연구대상으로 경기도 G시 M초등학교의 1, 2, 3학년 다문화가정 아동 20명을 실험집단 10명과 통제집단 10명으로 구분하여 구성하고, 실험집단 아동 10명에게 정서순화예술놀이 프로그램을 2013년 10월 2일부터 2013년 11월 15일까지 주 2회, 매회기 90분씩 총 10회기를 실시하였다.
연구방법은 설문조사로 다문화가정 아동들을 대상으로 프로그램 실시 전 사전조사, 그리고 프로그램 실시 후 사후조사와 프로그램 종료 한 달 후 추후조사를 실시하였고, 설문조사 문항은 다문화가정 아동의 일반적 특성과 아동의 사회성 척도로 구성하였다. 정서순화예술놀이는 프로그램 회기별로 주제와 목표를 설정하여 실험집단에게 실시하였고, 그 과정에서 작성한 연구자의 프로그램 일지, 관찰기록지, 비디오판독, 사진 등의 자료를 이용하여, 아동이 영역별로 표출되어지는 예술적 반응과 비예술적 반응의 변화를 관찰·분석한 사례조사 방법을 병행하였다.
본 연구를 통해 실험집단과 통제집단 아동의 사전 사회성을 살펴본 결과 두 집단의 동질성이 입증되었고, 사후검사 결과 실험집단 아동의 경우 정서순화예술놀이 프로그램 실시 후 공감, 자기조절, 주장성, 협력성 등이 높아진 것으로 나타났고, 아동의 행동변화를 살펴보기 위하여 활동과정에 대한 관찰기록지를 질적으로 분석한 결과 다문화가정 아동의 사회적 특성, 또래관계의 특성에 대한 긍정적인 변화가 있음을 확인하였다.
정서순화예술놀이 프로그램은 다문화가정 아동의 정서순화 및 사회성 향상에 영향을 주는 중요한 프로그램이라고 할 수 있었다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of an emotional cleansing art play program comprised of music play and food art play on the social skills of children from multicultural families.
As for methodology, the investigator administered an emotional cleaning art play program under a topic and goal for each session to see whether the program would have impacts on the improved social skills of children from multicultural families. A case study method was also employed to observe and analyze changes to their artistic and non-artistic responses in each domain of music play and food art play with the researcher's program log, observation log, videos, and photographs for the demonstration of its influences.
The subjects include 20 children from multicultural families in the first, second, or third grade at M Elementary School as a multicultural base in G City, Gyeonggi Province. They were divided into the experiment and control group, each of which contained ten children. An emotional cleansing art play program was implemented to the experiment group over total ten sessions, each of which lasted 90 minutes, twice per week from October 2 to November 15, 2013. A survey was conducted with both the experiment and control group in a pre-test before the program, post-test after the program, and follow-up study one month after the end of the program. The questionnaire items covered the general characteristics of children from multicultural families and a sociality inventory for children. In addition, the study measured the satisfaction of the experiment group with the emotional cleaning art play program each session.
The data was entered into the SPSS Win 20.0 statistics program
This emotionally cleansings arts programs are aimed at improving overall social skills for children through the use of qualified instructions from facilitators utilizing the mediums of instrumental music and food ingredients. Participants will be able to work in a free environment, express themselves freely, and through reconfiguration of empathy, self-regulation, assertiveness, and collaboration, improve their overall social skills.
