한국어 초록

19세기 말 유럽에서는 산업혁명으로 인한 사회 변화와 아카데미즘에 대한 반발 속
에서 새로운 예 술 운동들 이 등장하기 시작한다. 상징주의， 입체주의， 미래주의， 절 대 주
의， 신조형주의， 구축주의 등 이 그 예 로 전통적인 미학을 근본적으로 재평가하는 이
운동들은 각기 고유한 접 근 방식 으로 리얼리티에 대한 재현 을 실험 하였다.
러시아에서 일어난 구축주의 는 엄밀하게 두 개의 분 파로 구분된다. 하나는 1920- 21
년에 간(Alexe? Gan) 이 <구축주 의 > 라는 글 에서 정의내린 공상적 정 치 이 상주의를 지
향하는 ‘생산주의(Producti vism) ’ 이다. 그 리 고 또 다른 하나는 순수한 조형 언어 를 추구
하는 ‘사실주의(Realism) ’이다. 이 두 그룹 의 정치적 입장은 완전히 다르 나， 새 로운 사
회는 새 로운 예 술언 어 를 요구한다는 아방가르드 정신 하에서 전통적 인 조각이 지닌 상징이나 환영을 거부하고 새 로운 재료로 새로운 공간을 표현한 점에서는 유사점 을
갖는다.

영어 초록

Realism-Constructivist brought innovation on the sculptural art within new understanding about the space and time. They replaced the traditional concept of space which is the space as mass to the 'depth'. The 'depth' which explained by stereometric method deconstructed a mass and firmity of the sculpture, erased the dense of volume and expanded the space into the empty volume. Besides, they understood space as space-time continuum. Therefore, Kinetic rhythm that is a real time in the sculpture has been appeared. Kinetic rhythm has been expressed as a real movement and illusional movement of the static structure in realism-constructivism sculpture. The real movement produced a brand new concept of virtual volume. This means that the sculpture obtained new dimension of dematerialization by deconstructing its materiality. The illusional movement was expressed by the spatial construction of simple surface and innumerable lines. It accompanied by the journey of viewpoint and physical movement of viewers within the passage of time. Movement expression of Realism-constructivism transits the sculpture which has long been defined as a spatial art to temporal art. It became an origin of Kinetic Art. The optical effect of the industrial material and light has related with Op Art and Light Art of 1960s as well. The experiment that causes movement effect by viewer's viewpoint and physical motion within space-time continuum connected into the issue of viewer participation specially in the 1960s art tendencys such as Minimal art. Furthermore, encountering with the digital technology, it intensifies and expands its complicated expression and aesthetical meaning through Video Art or Interactive Art which explores the viewer participation and the sense of time and space.
