한국어 초록

본 논문에서는 학생들의 읽기 능력을 향상시키기 위한 방법으로, 놀이 형태를 띤 독서 아니마시온 방법을 기반으로 하여, 활동 중심 독서지도 방안을 제시해 보았다. 이 때의 활동은 독해를 중심으로 한 활동을 의미하며, 단순한 흥미 위주의 외면적 활동이 아니라, 학생의 지적 능력 및 사고력을 신장시키는 독서 중의 내적 활동을 말한다. 또한 학습목표 도달을 위한 지도에 한정시키기 보다는 독서교육의 궁극적 목표라 할 수 있는 독서 능력의 향상과 독서 태도의 함양에 그 지향점을 두었다.
이를 위해 먼저 국어과 교육과정상 독서지도의 내용을 살펴보고, 독서교육과 교과교육을 연계한 통합교육을 고려하여 교육과정의 ‘읽기의 원리’에서 가르치고 있는 내용 중, 독서의 과정에서 이루어지는 사고 작용의 방식을 기준으로 기본적인 독해기능인 사실적 이해 기능, 추론적 이해 기능으로 나누어 지도 방안의 예를 제시하였다.
내용 이해 및 확인 전략에서는 부분 독해 기능인 ‘일이 일어난 차례 알기’와‘ 음독(낭독)하기’, 전체 독해 기능인 ‘내용 파악하기’와 ‘제목 붙이기’ , 추론적 이해 방법에서는 이어질 내용에 대한 추론하기 지도 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 지도 방안은 간단하지만 구체적인 활동 중심으로 이루어졌기 때문에 누구나 쉽고 즐겁게 놀이하듯이 할 수 있고, 기초 독서 능력을 신장시키는데 도움이 되리라 생각한다.

영어 초록

Reading is not only the basis of education but also the nucleus of it for the whole person. However, even though this is widely recognized and the importance of reading is emphasized, the reality of reading education in school doesn't meet our expectation. To achieve meaningful reading skills in our daily life under this circumstances, a specific teaching methods of reading should be taught to students along with existing educational system.
From this point of view, this study suggests teaching methods of an activity-centered reading that is based on the reading animacion to improve students reading skills. Reading animacion is a form of playing to help students increase their ability of reading. What it means by an activity-centered reading method is not external activities simply arousing the interest of reading but internal ones developing the intellectual abilities of reading as well as the way of
thinking. The ultimate aims of this report are to improve students reading abilities and to cultivate of reading attitudes rather than just to achieve educational learning aims.
To fulfill these goals, this study reviewed the current teaching methods of reading in the Korean language curriculum and suggested three categorized ways of teaching methods, which are taught in ‘the reading principles and attitudes’of the curriculum, considering the
integrated education related with the education of reading and course.
They are understanding and confirming the contents of a story, inferring understanding skills, and cultivating the reading attitudes and habits among the realistic understanding skills
▪In the strategies of understanding and confirming the contents of a story, teaching methods of knowing the sequence of what things happened’and ‘reading aloud’which are the skills of a partial reading and understanding,‘grasping the contents’which is the skill of a whole reading and understanding,‘grasping the topics’and‘entitling’, ▪In the methods of inferring understanding, inferring contents of what will happen, ▪In the cultivating the reading attitudes and habits, presenting one of the teaching methods to grab the interests about reading.
Since these teaching methods place more weight on activities, I believe that anybody can enjoy the pleasure of reading like playing a game and improve their way of reading books for sure. As there is no shortcut to teaching how to read, continuous teaching is encouraged.
The result of this research, which will be applied to the real school activities, will be placed on the next study.
