In most operating rooms today, there was two or three surgeons, an anesthesiologist, several nurses, and the patient. All of these people are needed for even a simple surgery. This situation, however, has begun to change. Surgical robots are beginning to replace several surgeons during one operation. In a few hospitals today, an operation requires only one surgeon, a computer, and a surgical robot. Looking even further into the future, the surgeon may not need to be there at all!
오늘날 대부분의 수술 방에서 두 명 또는 세명의 외과 의사들이 있고, 한 명의 마취과 의사, 여러 명의 간호사들 그리고 환자가 있습니다. 심지어 간단한 수술에서도 이 모든 사람들이 필요합니다. 그러나, 이 상황은 변하기 시작했습니다. 수술 로봇들은 한번 수술이 진행되는 동안 몇 명의 외과의사들을 대체하기 시작했습니다. 오늘날 몇 몇 병원에서, 수술은 단지 한 명의 외과의사, 컴퓨터 한 대, 그리고 수술 로봇이 필요합니다. 미래로 훨씬 더 멀리 본다면, 외과의사는 그곳에 전혀 필요 없을 수도 있습니다.
