This is the most impressive phrase of the writer said in the book. So through this simple phase, what the author try to say about American politics? Probably, it could be compressed into ‘religion doesnt fit into political categories’. Also religion should be critical of both Left and Right when needed. Yes, I really have sympathy with that.
The writer, Jim Wallis, is the leading figure at the crossroads of religion and politics in America today.
