To start off, I think that this essay should start off with what I, as a student expect from a teacher. I guess the most obvious thing would be the expectation of learning. Also orienting the student to become a proper civilized social human being. Helping the student physically and mentally when the student is in need of it would be another expectation. It is frankly hard to find a teacher that fulfills all these conditions. Actually there might not even be a teacher that is perfectly fit with the exact potentials. No one is perfect, some might be close to it. But it is impossible to be 100% perfect. The teacher I remember was not the teacher that was perfect but the teacher that gave me the most strength physically and mentally.
This teacher was my English teach at an academy in Seoul. We all have the misconception that it is hard to get really close with an academy`s teacher. Mostly people think that academy`s teachers only play the role of conveying information. So they tend to think relationships with academy`s teachers are superficial. However, this was not the case for me. His name was Song Jeong Won. Not only did he just teach me English, but he provided me with the strength to have a more precise goal in life.
The first time I registered for this academy I had a fixed conception that all academy`s teachers are the same so I didn`t really look forward to the classes.
