Tourism is an important industry in many countries and it has a great effect on all aspects of life in these countries. As more and more people are able to fly to distant destinations and thereby they bring benefits to many countries. It can bring a lot of advantages if it is managed well, but in many cases it is not.
Let’s look at positive side. First, tourism is good for local economy - tourists spend plenty of money on local goods and services, a variety of jobs are offered to the local population and a source of income.
Another advantage is that we can build cultural understanding and friendship. When I was in New Zealand for studying English, I learned about its culture comprehensively such as their staple foods, fashion style, history and propriety. Also, I got to know with New Zealander and became intimate with them while I was there.
