The Preface
The most important thing to understand some countries or religions is to observe their culture which is related with their own thoughts. To get to know the exact feature of Islamic religion, which is very well known as misconceptions, it's truly momentous to look through their rituals or festivals connected with their life.
In this text, we will study the main Islamic rituals and festivals occupied Muslim's lifetime, and following these segment we expect to understand what is religion "Islam" to them.
The Body
First, We should know about the unique system of dating in Islamic world before we study for rituals and festivals.
Islamic calendar
The Islamic calendar or Muslim calendar (Arabic: التقويم الهجري; at-taqwīm al-hijrī; Persian: تقویم هجری قمری taqwīm-e hejri-ye qamari; also called the Hijri calendar) is a lunar calendar used to date events in many predominantly Muslim countries, and used by Muslims everywhere to determine the proper day on which to celebrate Islamic holy days. It is a lunar calendar having 12 lunar months in a year of about 354 days.
