Taking drugs is not usual in Korea. I had seen some people taking drugs in films before I started to study abroad. Now I am in China. I was very shocked that I could see people taking drugs really, and that those drugs are illegal. According to statistics from INCB (International Narcotic Control Board), consumption of illegal drugs is not decreasing, but it is gradually increasing (“Table,” table12). Dr Roberts say that the death rate from drug overdoes among teenager has increased (Roberts et al.). I think we should not legalize drugs, but some people insist on legalizing drugs. There are some reasons why drugs should not be legal.
The fast way to destroyed life is abusing drugs. They have nothing good but harm for us. KAADA (Korean Association Against Drug Abuse) reported that continuous abusing drugs can cause serious drug dependence. Drug addicts live on drug, and even food became subordinate thing in life.
