On a piece of paper, write down everything you might want to include about yourself on a resume?education, coursework, jobs, internships, activities, skills, honors, publications, language skills, study abroad experiences and community service projects.
Write down the dates, locations, and title/position for each job or activity. Then, for each work experience or major extracurricular activity, think about and record major responsibilities, projects worked on, new skills learned, and goals achieved.
Think about how you:
Improved the work process.
May have satisfied a customer.
Did something that was of value to others.
Learned valuable skills that are transferable to any work environment.
Contributed to the organization`s goals.
Demonstrated that you were recognized for your achievements or contributions.

Use some of these words on your resume. They are active words that help the reader visualize your activities.
`Assist,` `Contribute` and `Support`
An employer won`t know what you did if the wording on your resume is too unclear.
Words like "assist," "contribute" and "support" all say you helped, but they don`t say how.
Always follow them with a description of your role and responsibilities.
Words NOT to use:
`Successfully‘
You don`t need to use words like "successfully" or effectively" to show an employer that you`re a good worker.
Instead of saying that a project was successful, state your achievements clearly and factually.
Then give examples of how or why the project was a success.
