To begin with, physical punishment plays a significant role in developing children’s personality. Particularly, children depend largely on parental guidance. Furthermore, it is not possible to reason with a two-year-old child. Parents should give proper punishments if it is the best way. From my experience, when I was five years old, I used to steal tiny dolls at a stationery store. One day, the shopkeeper called my mother and told her about my behavior. Though my mother always generous, she gave me scolding and corporal punishment at that time. I was cried and surprised at her attitude. However, thanks to such severe scolding, I never do stealing until now.
