This is because when I spend my free time without a plan, I often experience surprising and unanticipated events such as finding new dishes in exotic restaurants, making new friends, discovering scenic attractions, and obtaining unusual information regarding new places.

Such incidents are beyond my imagination and my humdrum day-to-day-life. Psychological assessments further show that people rate spontaneous activities more fun than planned ones.

This results because people want to make the most of their unscheduled time, and allow exciting experiences to present themselves and undreamed-of possibilities to unfold. As a result, spontaneous activities have an air of mystery and advanture to them.
