In late 18th century, under the growing financial crisis caused by the debt, the people of Third Estates started to feel more and more unfairness. In that period, there were three Estates. The First Estates who are Roman Clergies and the Second Estates who are nobilities had composed the 3% in the whole nation, and the Third Estates who are the others such as peasants had composed the 97%. As you think, all the privileges were concentrated on the First and Second Estates, and people of Third Estates had very few political rights or privileges. Only the Third Estates are required to pay taxes, and there even did not exist the freedom in religious. The growing financial crisis required more and more taxes from the Third Estates, and the taxes grew until the citizens were not able to buy the breads. As the situation get worse, the citizens finally erupted and they gather together and listen for everyone`s compelling and suggestion for the rights. This is the National Assembly. (본문1)
