The group structure of the LG Fashion house seems to be a multi-faceted one to say the least. Dependent on which way the company is seen the construction of the teams, divisions and departments seems to vary immensely. They have a melange of divisional teams, cross-functional teams and problem-solving teams as well as self-managed and virtual teams to deal with the vast amount of different tasks presented to them. The overall structure of the company, however, is presented as follows : with the CEO and CFO located right at the top of the whole system the company is divided into four broad groups of Energy and Resources, Industrial Goods and IT, Fashion and Apparel and the Management support division. It is then within these divisions that we can see the different types of teams in action. The Fashion division of LG is made up of four different teams that each have a different segment of market that they target team 1 are in charge of the high end suit section and are aiming to attract men in their 30s and above whilst team 2 exemplified in their adoption of the Daks brand are aiming to draw women to their high class clothes and accessories.
