1.0 INTRODUCTION
In socio-cultural anthropology, history of a specific countary is very because history says about collection of their ideas. Historically, colonial conquest did not affect all groups in the same way, and it can be advantages or disadvantages in many ways. For example, in colonial era, economic situation of a colony can be better than before in economic situation, On the other hand, their traditional culture and public order can be collapsed. Moreover, positions of men and women can be unequal in many ways. In pre-colonial Baule society, according to Mona Etience (1980), “livelihood became a source of conflict and holistic between men and women.” A part of the history of Baule society made for a perception of unbalanced gender roles, which can be viewed through holistic and conflict perspectives.
