4. Conclusions
Through adjusting the pH and the ratios of fibroin, collagen and heparin, fibroin/collagen/heparin scaffolds were directly prepared under mild conditions.
The scaffolds maintain the outstanding porous structure, mechanical properties and cytocompatibility.
The fibroin/collagen scaffolds containing heparin should provide multifunctional biomedical utility, especially for blood contacting tissue engineering.
