The Portuguese and the Spanish who engaged in slave trade gave the African the name of 'Negro' from the middle of 15C. It came from 'niger', Latin language, which means 'black'. African-Americans were called 'Negro' with insulting nuance for several centuries. This prejudice has been applicable to Black-English. (Kim, In suk 2000 : 301)
Although 'Negro' had been changed to 'Black', softened meaning, passing through the democratic movement of the colored race, it hasn't been still easy to shake off the prejudice.
I've decided history of Black-English as the report. I'm solving this problem and making mention of the real identity of Black-English through history. Besides I'm making the origin and history of Black-English clear, and then proving the differences between Black-English and other directs of English in America.
