I first took real notice of Michael Bolton when I heard his remake of Laura Branigan's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You". I thought it a little odd that someone would cover a hit song so recently done. After some digging I realized that Michael was one of the co-writers on the song and it made perfect sense for him to release his version. As I dug deeper I learned there was much more to Michael Bolton then initially meets the eye. His seemingly overnight success was instead a 12 year journey from his hard rockin' days with RCA Records as Michael Bolotin to his first taste of real success with his soft-rock anthems and the appropriately titled album "The Hunger" on Columbia records. I've always said that the surest way to succeed in the crazy music business is simply not to give up. Michael is a shining example of this and his hard work, dedication and talent have payed off bigtime. Just a few of Michael's career highlights include 2 Gold singles, 7 Platinum albums (52 million sold) and two of the industries highly coveted Grammys.
