The purpose of this study was to define the effect of Tangram Education Program which developed to enhance the creativity of young children aged 6. In order to clarify the purpose of the study, grouping was made by dividing 80 of 6 years old infants group who two groups; one consists of a half 6 years old taking part in the program education program and another composed of the rest of the infants who didn`t join the program. For the infants group that took part in the Tangram Education Program was conducted 8 times before the effect of the test was proved. I reconstituted and remade the Creativity Test for Children which developed by Moon Tae-Hyung and Kim Choon-il in Taegu University for the purpose of research in 1998. This CTC compromises of Language Test and Diagram Test. In the course of this study, Language and Test were used as it was considered diagram to be appropriate for infants it consisted of 4 different sub-elements like fluency, originality, flexibility and elaboration. The period of the study was from May 16, 1998 to July, 15, 1998. The study was enforced consecutively as follows ; execution, one week for pre-test, eight weeks for program execution, on week for post-test. We carried out the program onces a week, for between 90 minutes. The data was statistically proceed with statical means such as t-test, ANCOVA by adopting SPSS/PC+. The results of the study were as follows; 1. The experimental group, showed the improvement in grade of flexibility compared with the control one. 2. The experimental group, showed the improvement in grade of fluency of compared with the control one. 3. The experimental group, showed the improvement in grade of flexibility, fluency and creativity compared with the control one. As described above, these test results above prove that the creativity of infants can be developed by the Tangram education program and, in view of transfer effect of the program, it provides some grounds to enhance potential creativity of infants when these teaching method one adopted for the lower level of education fields in kindergarten and primary schools.
