한국어 초록

본 연구는 유식사상의 아뢰야식과 정신분석의 무의식을 비교하여 인간 마음의 본질에 대해서 고찰하였다. 무의식과 아뢰야식의 심층 적인 비교를 통하여 서양의 상담이론과 불교 상담의 통합적인 상담 의 이론적 근거를 마련하고 내담자에 대한 깊은 통찰을 이끌어 내고 자 하는 상담자들에게 도움을 주고자 하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
두 이론의 공통점은 인간의 마음은 자신이 인지하는 부분과 그렇 지 못하는 여러 층으로 되어 있으며, 그 중에서도 무의식과 아뢰야식 은 인간의 행위와 사고에 많은 영향을 주는 경험의 저장소로서 언제 든지 현실로 발현될 수 있는 가능성으로 존재한다는 것이다. 차이점으로는 프로이트의 무의식은 본능적인 측면으로 자아와의 대립관계 로 억압되어 현실에서 왜곡되어 나타나는 부정적인 측면과 본능에 의한 고정불변을 강조한 반면, 유식사상의 아뢰야식은 각자의 과거 로부터 훈습하고 찰나생멸의 반복과정을 겪으며 유기적으로 흐른다는 것이다.
이와 같이 프로이트의 무의식과 유식사상의 아뢰야식의 비교함으 로써 정신분석의 무의식이론에 대한 한계를 유식사상의 아뢰야식을 통하여 보완함으로써 진정한 자기의 뿌리가 무엇인지 자각하도록 한다. 그리고 현실과 정신의 괴리감에 고통스러워하는 내담자에 대한 상담자의 통찰과 내담자 스스로 자신과의 소통을 통해 행복한 삶으 로 나아갈 수 있도록 하는 기초가 되는 데 이 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

영어 초록

This paper compared Aroeyasik in Yusik Idea and unconsciousness in psychoanalysis in order to study the essence of human's mind. Unconsciousness is not substantial material but exists influencing every behavior, thinking and emotion of human being. By comparing unconsciousness and Aroeyasik indepth, the paper will present a theoretical basis in western counselling theory and comprehensive counselling of Buddhist counselling. Also, it will be useful to the counsellors who want to support clients by drawing their deep self-penetration.
Psychoanalysis revealed structure of human's inner essence. A study to find out comparison and similarity of unconsciousness in psychoanalysis and Aroeyasik in Yusik idea will support the counsellor who is aware of a need of comprehensive counselling to have an understanding of the client's psychopathological phenomenon which is caused by a confusion from lack of understanding and to heal the client by facing the basis of the inner self which is distorted and appeared in reality.
The research methodology is based on literature research related to psychoanalysis and Yusik idea which are referred from Buddhist scriptures, counselling thesis and publications.
Aroeyasik in Yusik idea and unconsciousness in psychoanalysis show commonalities and differences in its effect and essence. The commonality of the two theory is that human's mind is divided into many layers. Some of the layers can be self-recognized but others are not. Unconsciousness and Aroeyasik are storing places of experience which influence diversely in human's behaviors and thoughts. There is a potential that these can be emerged in the reality at any time.
The difference is that unconsciousness of S. Freud is an instinct part which emphasized negative aspects - being suppressed and appears in a distorted way in reality - and the rigidity - emerges by instinct due to conflict relations - while Aroeyasik in Yusik idea observes that depending on the past experience or the types of unconsciousness each person has, the adoptability in the reality also varies and so does the agony effect. Also S. Freud regarded conscientization of unconsciousness as a healing process while strengthening ego and has a healing goal to free ego from basic ego and super ego. On the other hand, the goal of Yusik idea is to break through from every obsession while realizing that you, I and the universe are one by experiencing natural ego and purifying ego through wisdom and practice.
The purpose is to understand the real route of ego by complementing the limit of unconsciousness theory of psychoanalysis with Aroeyasik of Yusik idea while comparing unconsciousness of S. Freud and Aroeyasik of Yusik idea. Also this research is meaningful to give an insight to the counsellor about a client who is in pain due to a gap between reality and mental; and in building up a foundation to pursue a happy life while communicating with ego of a client.
