The growth of industrial and municipal wastewater treatment facilities has resulted in
major increase in the quantities of sludge and has exacerbated problems of waste sludge
treatment and disposal. Now wastewater sludge is regarded as useful resources for
fertilizer fuel, cement ingredient, permeable block and tile. But it is difficult to
reuse sewage sludge due to high contents of moisture, and limit to the amount of removal
water by using mechanical treatment. Drying technology is being magnified as a solution
of removal water problem of sewage sludge, understanding of the characteristic of sludge
drying and selection of drying technology are required. This research contains moisture
content and viscosity characteristics which can influence process treating sewage sludge
of stage Ⅱ recycling facility. In addition, we also tried to reduce the variability
which can be caused by treatment processes and develop a plan for an unexpected
situation. The results viscosity measurements of seasonal sewage sludge, the dryer
operating conditions of spring, summer and autumn, winter is a need to access different.
And the viscosity is maintained to 45Pa∙s or less in order to the moisture content less
than 10% of dry sludge
