ABSTRACT

한국어 초록

본 연구는 교사발달에 관한 국내 연구동향을 분석함으로써 향후 이 분야의 연구방향을 설정하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 Feiman과 Floden(1980)의 교사발달 접근방식에 따라 교사발달 단계와 특성 연구, 교사발달 영향요인 연구 등 총 34편의 국내 학위논문과 학술지논문을 대상으로 연구내용과 연구결과를 중심으로 분석하고 국내 연구의 동향을 파악함으로써 앞으로의 연구방향을 설정하였다.
국내 교사발달 연구는 크게 발달단계 및 교사특성 연구와 교사발달 영향요인 연구로 나누어지며 발달단계 및 교사특성 연구는 발달단계와 그에 따른 교사특성을 확인하는 연구와 변인과의 관계를 파악하는 연구로 세분화할 수 있고 교사발달 영향요인 연구는 영향요인을 구명하는 연구와 발달단계에 따른 영향력 정도를 구명하는 연구로 나눌 수 있다. 발달단계와 그에 따른 교사특성은 전문성, 관심사, 가치관의 차원에서 주로 분석하는데 발달단계의 설정과 그에 따른 발달 특성의 기술에서 차이가 있으며 교사발달 관련변인과의 관계는 연수, 장학, 정보의 차원에서 발달단계에 따른 선호도와 인식차를 분석하였다. 교사발달 영향요인의 구명은 개인이나 조직과 같은 환경적 요인과 학급?학교나 사회?국가와 같은 사회적 차원에서 접근하는 경향이 있었고 각 요인들이 교사발달에 미치는 영향력 정도는 교사발달 단계별 혹은 교사 배경변인에 따른 차이를 밝히고 있었다.
향후 교사발달 연구는 다학문적 접근, 적합한 모형의 적용, 질적 연구의 강화 및 양적 연구의 확대, 생애사건분류에 따른 영향요인 분석을 통한 접근이 요구된다.

영어 초록

By analyzing the trend of research on the teacher development in Korea, this study aims at exploring the direction of subsequent research in the field. For the objective, the method of teacher development approach by Feiman and Floden(1980) was adopted. A total of 34 dissertations and scholarly monographs, which include research on the teacher development steps and characteristics and research on the influential factors for teacher development were analyzed to understand the trend of the domestic studies, and the direction of studies in the future.
In the domestic studies on the teacher development, The first can be subdivided into studies that confirm the development steps and the corresponding characteristics of teachers and studies that understand the correlations to the variables, and the latter can be divided into studies that inquire after the influential factors and studies that look deeply into the levels of influence following each development step. The teacher development steps and the corresponding characteristics of teachers are mostly analyzed on the levels of professionalism, interests and values; however, there were differences in the setting up of the development step and the corresponding development characteristics of teachers. For the correlation to the variables related to the teacher development, there were differences in the preference and understanding by each development step at levels of training, encouragement and information. There was a tendency that the inquiries on the influential factors of the teacher development were approached with the environmental factors like individual or organization, and social dimensions like class?school or community?country, and there were differences in regard to the influence of each factor on the teacher development either by the step of the teacher development or the background factor of teachers. For the future research on the teacher development, it would be necessary to make an approach after an analysis on the influential factors followed by the quantitative studies through multi-academic approaches, applications of adequate models and intensification of qualitative studies and by classification of lifetime events.
