This study considered functional role that ‘point of view shot’ as author’s intentional fact and conducted detailed and positive analysis. To find out the use of point of view shot objectively, this study formed, compared and analyzed point of view shot based on conformity of theory. According to the analysis, the function of point of view shot had definite distinction and an important role in description information as a participant that delivers visual information of images, a character’s mental state. Point of view shot is not used independently and requires significant combination of subjective and objective point of view shot. When subjective point of view shot is used, a character that becomes a main consciousness before of after the use if it should be provided by objective point of view. Therefore, all shots should have organic and meaningful combination of both subjective and objective point of view shot for aesthetic function to approach effectively between director and audience.
