본 연구는 상동행동을 보이는 지적장애아동을 대상으로 적절한 행동의 차별강화(DRA)에 의한 미술치료 프로그램을 실시하여 상동행동 감소에 미치는 효과를 알아보고 이로 인한 효과가 중재를 종료한 뒤에도 유지가 잘 되는지 밝히는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 상동행동이 있는 아동 3명을 대상으로 하여 단일대상연구로 중다기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 기초선 단계는 각각 4회기,6회기,8회기로 측정하고 중재단계는 순차적으로 20회기, 18회기, 16회기의 프로그램을 적용하여 중재의 효과를 관찰하였다. 그리고 2주일간의 휴지기간 후 유지단계를 5회기 실시하였다. 대상아동의 표적행동을 15초 간격의 부분간격 기록법을 사용하여 관찰 측정하였으며 적절한 행동 수행 시 즉각적인 강화인자를 주어 행동이 촉구될 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 분석하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 적절한 행동의 차별강화에 의한 미술치료 프로그램은 지적장애 아동의 상동행동 감소에 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 둘째, 적절한 행동의 차별강화에 의한 미술치료 프로그램을 적용한 지적장애아동의 상동행동 감소 효과는 처치기간이 끝난 후에도 그 효과가 유지되었다.본 연구의 결론을 통해 “적절한 행동의 차별강화에 의한 미술치료 프로그램 중재”는 지적장애아동의 상동행동을 감소시키며, 감소 결과는 유지에도 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of an art therapy program with differential
reinforcement on appropriate behavior(DRA) on reduction in stereotypic behaviors of children with intellectual disabilities and to investigate whether such effects continue after the therapeutic intervention. Three children showing stereotypic behaviors were selected to be the subjects, and multiple baseline design for single subject study was applied in this study. In order to observe the effects of intervention, 4, 6, and 8 program sessions were measured for baseline stage while 20, 18, and 16 program sessions were successively applied for intervention stage. After two weeks of resting period, 5 program sessions were performed for
maintenance stage. The target behaviors of the subjects were observed and recorded ataninterval of 15 seconds according to partial in terval record method, and when they perform appropriate behaviors, the behaviors were stimulated by providingim mediate reinforcement factors. The conclusion from the analysis ofthe results is as follows. Firstly, the art therapy program with differential reinforcement on appropriate behaviors showed positive effects on reduction in the stereotypic behavior of the children with intellectual disabilities. Secondly, the effects of the reduction in the stereotypic behavior of the intellectually disable children when applied of the art therapy with differential reinforcement on appropriate behavior continued even after the period of treatment. Conclusively, "an art therapy program intervention with differential reinforcement on appropriate behavior"will contributet or eductionin stereotypic behaviors of children with intellectual disabilities and the results of the reduction will affect maintaining such effects.
