본문내용
Hamlet delays his revenge on Claudius because of his undecidable character. Hamlet has excessive thoughts. He thinks too much. He habitually analyzes and examines the motives and the results of every matter. And all these thoughts restrain and paralyze his power of action and decision. “Some craven scruple of thinking too precisely on th’event.” (4. 4. 40~41) Universally, people avenge one’s father’s murder. But under the influence of Hamlet’s character, Hamlet delays his revenge on Claudius.
