Good morning everyone. I’m out here today to discuss about the inequality of men and women. You might say,
”What? It’s getting much better these days. We don’t have to worry about it. ” Yes, It’s true. It is getting a little better. But I have proof that our country is still a lot in andocentrism.
Let’s take a look at this picture. What do you see? A man holding a newspaper and a woman washing the dishes…
Does this picture look normal to you?
Ok. Then let’s take a look at this picture. Does this look normal to you? I thought so. People still think men are more superior to women. And what’s worse is that even women think that way. Why did this happen?
People like to discriminate stuff. Like we discriminate upper class and lower class people, or black and white people, and of course, men and woman. We emphasize the fact that they’re different and then try to divide them in a wrong way. For instance, men are physically stronger than women. That’s the basic reason men got into the controlling group and the woman got into the controlled group.
