본문내용During the late 1920s, many industrial psychologists were trying to find how to improve workers’ efficiency by using scientific management. At that time, Elton Mayo who was on the Pennsylvania had examined how affected workers morale at the Hawthorne plant of western Electric with the rest periods. The purpose of Hawthorne Studies is to know the efficiency of scientific management. When illumination was increased, the output increased.
