Strength
1) Country`s Leading Indigenous Airline
In March of 1969, Korean Airline was acquired by Korea Aerospace ㈜ for 40 years which would have been enough to change our country as a leading airline. With its foundation, South Korea`s economic growth for the airline in line shape and grew 6,000 times. Private airlines are not for poor countries as the Federation of International Air and International Air Cargo member airlines SKYTEAM chain sector have become the world`s No. 1 airlines.
2) International recognition
Asiana Airlines over the short history of the scale is small and not internationally known, the world`s great airlines and the air is second to as much fame and recognition as those are showing. In the meantime, also attract many members of the SKYPASS and the resulting high customer loyalty gained them ra weakness in the domestic aviation. In international market, even in a good way to attract customers, we can presume that the factors that effect.
3) SKYTEAM
KAL, DELTA, AIR FRANCE, KLM, Continental, Northwest, AERO MAXICO chain with international airline alliances `SKYTEAM` launched by securing a strong alliance is fair to say. If it is up to SKYPASS SKYTEAM belong to the airline mileage between the possible benefits are shared.
4) Various Routes
B747-400-based 21 and newest fleet of 129 units compared to the domestic rival Asiana to a greater extent. KAL has implemented a variety of networks and schedule but still cannot compare with Asiana Airlines. Korean Airline’s overall number of aircrafts, employees and flight routes is far ahead of Asiana.
