Synopsis
Matilda`s parent treated Matilda with indifference.
When she was 2, she learned how to take care of herself. When she was 4, she started to go to the public library and read books. When she was 6, her father enrolled her at elementary School which is
very scary. Principal Trunchbull threw children out of the window and put them in the `chokey`, a small dark closet used as a dungeon. Fortunately, Matilda`s teacher Miss Honey was very kind and became her best friend. Matilda heard a story about the relationship between Honey and Trunchbull. After her mother died, her father invited his wife`s step sister to look after Honey and she was Trunchbull.
