◆Abstract
In this experiment, I examine the characterization of a system with its impulse response and transfer function by examining its input and output signals in time and frequency domain. Specifically, passive and active low pass filters are considered and the effect of the filter on the signal is observed in both the time and frequency domains.

Q2. Why this narrow rectangular pulse is a good approximation to the impulse function in the range of frequencies from 0 to 1000 kHz?

As you can see from the above plot, the spectrum between 0 to 1000kHz has almost same value which looks like a constant. Therefore, narrow rectangular pulse is a good approximation to the impulse function in some limited range.
