1. Exercises #1, #2, #6, #8 in chapter 1
#1. What are your main goals in life? How does finance play a part in achieving those goals? What are the major trade-offs you face?
- My main goal is that I`ll make a comfortable family in my life. So I do to study, get the job and prepare many things. Such as buying a car, my family`s home, rising for children money and so on. I don`t want to earn much money, but I think when I retire I am able to use some money.
- Finance study helps me determine when I choose the home I want to buy is a good value or bad value. The study of finance also helps me determine the cheapest source of financing for the purchase of that home. And finance study helps me determine how much money I will have to save in order to pay for my children’s education as well as my own retirement. I can operate living cost well.
- Spend money now by buying clothes, food, entertainment fee and paying mobile phone fee. Also, I spend money for test cost. Such as Toeic, Toeic Speaking and other getting license. There are considering living in my life.

#2. What is your net worth? What have you included among your assets and your liabilities? What have you excluded that you might have included?
- My net worth is about two thousands dollars. Below, I write to check for reason my net worth.
- I have two periodical deposits. There are my only assets. One deposit is due date on Feb 20. 2012. Other deposit is due date on April 20. 2013. Every month, I steadily save my deposit.
I don`t have liabilities. I don`t be borrowed money but I mind my parent help. That cost is unmeasurable.
- I exclude my past and future value. Beacause I`m a student that have potential future value. I used much many in fast but in future I can earn more money than in fast. So I don`t consider earning money in future.
