Ⅰ. Introduction

In the era of globalization in the twenty-first century, English is not an optional course, but a required. English pronunciation has been external standards to evaluate competence of the speaker. If someone speak grammatically, but with no an accurate pronunciation, everybody will say that he is not good English speaker. So there are many people who have an operation to make their tongue longer. It explains that Korean have a difficulty to speak English and pronunciation is important.

Moreover, early English education has been overheating in Korea. Nowadays, Korean students have forcibly been taught by their parents. These education is not only expensive, but also inefficient. That is why Korean students have been learned English to go university as taking a CSAT(the College Scholastic Ability Test), not to study profoundly.

A short time ago, a international student come from Japan visited to his American friend`s house. The landlord ordered him "Freeze!" as he pointed a gun, because he was surprised by visiting a stranger. But the international student misunderstanded his order as "Please." And then, he ignored landlord`s order, finally he shot and the student dead. Although this incident make Japanese feel anger, the American courts judged him in self-defence under the proverb : `When in Rome, do as Romans do`. Like this, because of wrong English pronunciation, many accidents and misunderstandings take place.
